I have just exported/imported a piano transcription from Cubase 12 into Dorico 4 elements and was pleasantly surprised at the results in general.
However I am confused by the duplication of 8va markings - and what to do about them.

This is indeed rather strange… Octave lines in Dorico are part of the clefs elements, so you can safely select them and delete, and you’ll see the notes below the line jump an octave (which should be fine, right ?). If you need to input one, it’s as simple as selecting the notes (first note selected, hold shift, select last note), shift C, 8, enter.
