Hi everyone!
I want to take a region, or a midi note and copy it backwards. So instead of the region being copied to the right of the current region, I want it copied to the left of the current region. I’ve looked at the logical editor and through the key commands and haven’t been able to figure out a way to do this. Any ideas?
The practical application of this is cutting back clicks. Pro Tools does this with a key modifier.
Hold alt and click-drag the region.
Ya that kinda works, but that’s not exactly what I was looking for. For instance, this won’t work if the region isn’t on the grid. And it requires more time/accuracy than if it was a key command. In PT this works by holding down command and option and clicking on the region (once) and it automatically duplicates backwards.
Any other ideas?
Have you tried changing the Snap Type to Events and then duplicating the MIDI part by holding alt and dragging?
