Never had this issue before.
I have an edited audio clip, im chopping up, I timestretch everything to fit and then I wanna duplicate it.
When I duplicate it, the length of the audio clip changes. Musical mode is disabled.
Totally lost as to what is causing this. Help !

Is it really the audio clip (i.e. the audio file) or do you mean the audio event?

OK Not to worry, I found the problem, somehow , no idea how, the tempo was differnt.
I’ve no tempo track open, and it dropped 5bpm. Thats a mystery to me.

If you duplicate audio events, a copy of the selected event is created and placed after the original. The copies always refer to the same audio clip.
OK, Tempo: Maybe the tempo track is hidden? You could try to switch off the tempo track.

I know what a tempo track is and where it is, I mean I don’t know how the tempo actually got changed at all, when I never inserted a tempo track. It went from 185 to 180 bpm and everything was getting timestretched to that tempo , hence why it was changing size.
