Is there a way to copy note spacing in one measure, and duplicate the spacing in other measures that have the same rhythm? I have modified the note spacing exactly the way I want it in one measure. Is it possible to duplicate it, without spacing the notes manually in each measure?
Is there a way for the modified note spacing in the score to come out the same way in the parts?
For decades I’ve been copying music by hand. I’ve been using Dorico 5 Pro for about 4 months. Thanks for your help.

Welcome to the forum, Conrad. I’m afraid the answer to your question is no, there’s no way to copy manual note spacing adjustments to other bars. Have you already exhausted the possibilities of adjusting the settings in the Note Spacing page of Layout Options (or making local adjustments via note spacing changes in Engrave mode) so that you can avoid manual note spacing adjustments?
But you can also apply, as @dspreadbury suggested, Note spacing changes from and to specific rhythmic positions (that you can limit to a particular rhythmic position defining the “beginning” NSC, set to the desired value, and the “end” NSP set to Reset).
They are very handy and can resolve collisions very well. And it is possible to copy and paste them to other places or layouts/parts, even in different flows, and different projects:

Thank you for replying to my Dorico question. I’ve experimented with Note Spacing from Layout Options, and found that changing the Custom spacing ratio to 1.65 makes the note spacing for one recurring rhythm come out the way I want it to look.

Thanks for these replies. The second part of my question is how the parts print out compared with the score. I have limited experience printing from Dorico. It looks like the note spacing I’ve changed in the score does not come out the same in the parts. Is that correct? If so, is there a way to duplicate the note spacing from the score to the parts?
Since Note Spacing is a Layout option, note spacing can be different for each layout. Parts have different layouts from the Full Score. If you want the same note spacing in separate layouts you can select both layouts in the layout options dialog and then set the note spacing…
