Hey, i think i saw on a tutorial of cubase elements 8 (mac version?) there is a key for duplication which is quicker than copy and pasting? Does it exist in the windows version aswell?

Yes, the Key Command is Cmd + D. Selected part(s) are duplicated. New duplicate starts exactly at the end of the end of the latest selected object.
