Duration or length of the song and Adio Unit

Hi, I’ve been having problems with the mixdown process. I don´t know why when I do the final mixdown, even using the option “between the locators” the finished song is released with 17 minutes long. My song is only 5 minutes. I tried with other songs and this doesn’t happened, so I don’t know which bottom I pressed.

The other question is about the new feature “Audio Unit”. I Cannot see this option available, I think I have the latest version of Cubasis.
