I’d like to see more meters on each track, instead of just peak and level. Specifically, dynamic range on each track would be so useful and educational for users to begin to understand the sweet spot with compressing individual tracks. I know, you can just watch the main meter with a track on solo. However, having each tracks dynamic range available during playback could possibly give users such valuable insight, while possibly making Cubase an even more valuable tool in creating professional tracks. There are also several trends that could emerge from it… We might find that there are specific targets in dynamic range for individual tracks leading to a better mix or final product when blending them with other tracks. Dynamic Range can even be displayed somehow in the main window, on the acutual waveform.
