Dynamics over the staff in galley view - why?

Hi there,

in my Flute 2 (which doubles on Alto Flute and Picc) strangely the dynamics are written over the staff. That’s so in galley view of the full score, and also in the part.

But: This is only the case for the Alto Flute (not in the “normal” Flute staff.

What is this, and what can I do about it?

Could you have accidentally added the Alto instrument from the Singers family, instead of the Alto Flute instrument? Dynamics for vocal instruments are placed above the staff.

Try changing the instrument to Alto Flute.
