Hi all
I have a score that has been much tweaked. When I apply a new dynamic marking to some notes ( e.g. pppp), nothing changes. If I delete the notes and re-enter them manually, then the pppp marking has immediate effect on the velocity and overall sound.
Why do some notes in the score respond to dynamics, and others don’t? Is it because I have manually edited the velocity? Or pasted the notes from elsewhere? And - is there a way to reset the notes so that their velocity depends once more on the dynamics markings ( without having to re-type them)?
I tried cutting and pasting them back in but that doesn’t work as they seem to keep their velocities.
