Dynamics using the caret

Hi all,

Either I’ve gone mad or I’m struggling to find the precise method for this -

Someone please remind me how to choose start and end positions for gradual dynamics using the caret and popover? Is it shift+enter when you start? What is it to determine the end point?

Sorry - I know this has been covered somewhere but all I can find are the other methods of input/change…

It is either “<” or “>” to start, and then “?” to finish.

Both during note input (= with the caret active) and outside note input alternatives included in the “inputting” task here.
