Hope so . I’m one of the few ( judging by all the haters ) who never had a problem with the key. It means I can use Nuendo and other products where ever I am, on any computer across platforms , internet or not.
Some say what happens if I leave the key behind? When away I hang it on my car key. Can’t leave it.
I think SB will build in some flexibility. If it has to go fully internet then I’ve found the Toontrack system of authentication very simple and reliable. 2 simultaneous authorizations managed via their product application manager or directly from their website. Can change it between machines as much as you like. Takes 2 clicks.
