Eastwest and Ace Studios

Very interesting indeed. Their libraries are unwieldy so maybe AI can tame them a bit.

Yes, this is very interesting…I wonder if we’ll see them convert the EW choirs into an AI VST. This partnership would certainly suggest something along those lines.

could be interesting indeed. And perhaps you both saw in the annual VSL preview that they are now considering trying to use AI to produce a choir that sings text based on something they sampled way back. Still, I imagine we’ll be waiting quite a while for either company to produce something concrete – SynthV have already done it to an impressive standard.

I’m no expert, but I would assume they would need new samples to round out the phonemes, or perhaps this could all be done “in the box”. I don’t know. EW as you know, already has the tech to sing words, albeit through pain and suffering on the composer’s part

well yes, although I got used to Symphonic and Hollywood Choirs and I still have some affection for the children’s choir in particular. Still, the majority of my vocal works will be updated in due course by SynthV – unless of course that VSL or EastWest produce something even more compelling…

I’d love to see Voices of Opera turned into SynthV type voices…
