I spent a few hours this morning creating an expression map for Eastwest Strings 2. I find the intimate sound appealing, in particular for classical pieces. Here is a quick, strings-only mockup of the exposition from Mozart K550. While I know there are some pretty weak legato attacks and shorts sound good with most libraries, but overall, it pretty impressive and has some promise with a bit more tweaking.

The shorts sound good! There is many bowed string noise. 
And I am interested in hearing slower legato notes as well. They are not so audible in the demo.
I feel my wallet is slowly opening.

I haven’t wrapped my head completely around their legato patches yet. They are unwieldy to say the least. They require extended use of the key editor and are clearly meant to be played not rendered from notation software.
