Easy way to subdivide note?

Is there an easy way to turn, say, a semibreve (whole note) into 32 err… 32nd notes? (Apart from pressing U 32 times.)

Would it be quicker to introduce a 1/32 time signature, select the note and hit U once, then delete the time signature? :laughing:
