I follow the instructions in manual. It says I can change the MIDI channel and/or instrument for each sound when a drum map is used. It seems “locked” to track output instrument and channel. I even used ANY channel for track but that didn’t help. I note, O note, channel and output are all locked.

What do you mean by “I note, O note, channel and output are all locked”, please? How does it look like?
Input and Output notes? I found that making a drum map from the automatic choice only gives you a read-only copy. Copy that within Functions menu and you can make changes. Still a bug with Output selections, though.

Sorry, I wasn’t clear. What exactly do you mean by “are locked”? You can’t double-click? Or…? What happens, if you double-click, any message?
