"edit channel settings" button bug, always causes window to restore down

I have a Cubase question I can’t find an answer for online. there seems to be a bug. Or is this a “feature” I can turn off with a setting? Does anyone else have this issue?:

when I click on the “edit channel settings” button (the little “e” where you access effects), the window always restores down, like half minimizes, and I have to click “restore” in top right to get it back to full size.

Hi,

If I understand you right… You have your Project window maximized. Then you call Edit Channel Settings Window. And the Project window becomes not maximized. Am I right?

If yes, this was limitation of precious Cubase Windows handling. This is not true since new Windows composer introduced with Cubase 8 (if I remember right).
