hi,
if you select a track and hit your command for channel settings / edit vst instrument it works fine.
also if you or working on an automation lane (and have it selected) it works
but if you are working on a lane (edit not automation)… they don’t work… why 
?
so you have to manualy move back to the main track, do your keycommand… now go back to the lane you were working on to… oh wait wich one was it ? 
… waste of time.
said that several time… but not sure anyone is interested by this one.
