Hello all. I’ve got a question about working with Note Performer in Dorico; as the support for NP is not as robust as for Dorico, I’m hoping someone can answer this question here.
So I’m just trying to add an instrument to a Drum Kit Map - specifically, a tambourine to the NP Drum Set Map. I’ve tried a number of things, and can’t crack it. Simply changing the name and instrument in the percussion map doesn’t work, as it still generates the original sound (I changed Chinese Cymbal to Tambourine, and still got the cymbal sound). And just adding to a non-mapped Midi Note doesn’t result in any sound. Ideally, I could just edit the Chinese Cymbal sound (Midi Note 52 Note Name E3) to trigger the Tambourine sound, but I can’t find where to go in Dorico to change that note/sound pathway.
