The “edit in wavelab” feature, in version 9.5, has disappeared from version 10 and 10.5? I look and i disfind. Are the versions moving forward or regressing?
It’s well stated in Wavelab’s manual:
Editing Cubase/Nuendo Audio Events in WaveLab Pro
Prerequisite
Open your Cubase/Nuendo project in Cubase/Nuendo.
Procedure
In the Cubase/Nuendo Project window, select the audio event that you want to edit in WaveLab Pro.
You can also select only a part of the audio event with the Object Selection tool.
Select Audio > Edit in WaveLab.
In WaveLab Pro, edit the audio event.
When you have finished the editing, click Trigger Cubase/Nuendo Update on the command bar.
Result
The changes to the audio event are applied to the Cubase/Nuendo project.

Hi - all seems working properly here, exactly as the manual states; maybe its a Pro vs Artist thing… I’m running Cubase and WL Pro - your signature doesn’t identify which Cubase (or WL) you have… But, I’m only guessing…
Good luck.!
On Windows, open the folder “%PROGRAMDATA%\Steinberg\Audio Export Post Process Scripts” and look for a text file called “OpenInWavelabPro10_0.aepp”
If it doesn’t exist, use Notepad to create it with the following content:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<AudioExportPostProcess>
<Description>
<us>Open in WaveLab Pro</us>
<de>In WaveLab Pro öffnen</de>
<it>Aprire in WaveLab Pro</it>
<fr>Ouvrir dans WaveLab Pro</fr>
<es>Abrir en WaveLab Pro</es>
<jp>WaveLab Pro で開く</jp>
<zh>在 WaveLab Pro 开启</zh>
</Description>
<Icon>WaveLab10_0.png</Icon>
<Executable>
<Name>WaveLab Pro</Name>
<Version>10.0</Version>
<Path>C:\Program Files\Steinberg\WaveLab Pro 10.0\WaveLabPro10_0.exe</Path>
<Argument>"$PATH"</Argument>
</Executable>
<RunOnce>false</RunOnce>

Hello. The file is here. But it doesn’t work. No mention “Open edin in wavelab” in the menu of Cubase. I’m going to open a ticket.
