I’m just getting going with the Percussion Kit in Dorico Pro 2 and I’m having a little bit of trouble with it, wondering if this is a bug or if I’ve got a setting off somewhere. If I add an instrument to the kit and then hit Edit Names, I can edit the names just fine and they display in the score correctly as you can see in the image. BUT I can’t get them to change from the default instrument in the actual Edit Percussion Kit dialogue. This makes it a little tricky to keep track of what instrument is displaying where. Any ideas on what I’m doing wrong here? Thanks!
You’re not doing anything wrong: Dorico uses the default instrument name rather than the edited name.

Just a small note, it would be awesome if the names displayed in the Percussion Kit Dialogue would match the updated names after you enter them. Trying to place them on a staff is kind of a guessing game otherwise. Seems like a relatively simple change. Thanks again for the clarification.
