I’d like to be able to edit the spelling of music in my parts for transposing instruments, but not have the changes affect the score when displayed in C. Is this possible? (I generally compose in C, and then do this step at the end - since the transposed parts often don’t look the way I want them in terms of spelling. I don’t write w/ key signatures etc.)
If you edit accidentals in the score, they will affect the parts. If you edit accidentals in the parts, they will not affect the score. This applies to all part layouts and instruments, not just transposing instruments.
Oh good. Thanks - I guess what I was doing wrong was editing the transposed lines, but in the score.
