I imported this medley from Finale to continue learning Dorico. For some reason I cannot adjust the volume of the various instruments. I’ve attached the file itself, because you can’t hear a screenshot. If you look at the mixer you can see that I have turned down the woodwinds, brass, and piano because the default is louder than it should be (i.e. a single flute shouldn’t sound as loud as the whole violin section playing the same note at the same dynamic, etc.). But on playback there is no change. I also tried muting and soloing various combinations of instruments, all with no effect. I’m using NotePerformer. Any thoughts, suggestions, instructions, ideas, criticisms? (BTW - I have removed the Signposts for now, to have a clear view of the score.)
If you are using NP, are you adjusting volume in the Dorico Mixer or the NP Mixer? You want to use the NP Mixer.

@Derrek beat me to it. When using Note Performer if you want to adjust the volume of individual instruments in the mixer, you have to use the Note Performer mixer, not the Dorico mixer. Go to Play mode, track inspector (upper left), click on the E icon to view the Note Performer mixer. (This only shows the first 16 instruments. You’ll need to scroll down in the piano roll section to find the instruments lower in the score than the snare drum).
Got it. Thanks!
