I often want to adjust the volume of a single note while playing back in DORICO. This isn’t a problem if the volume is controlled by velocity. Unfortunately, it’s a bit tedious in DORICO once it’s controlled by a controller (CC1/CC11).
In Cubase, I’m used to doing this in two seconds by dragging the selection tool over the note in the MIDI Editor. This immediately creates the necessary breakpoints in the CC line, which you can then edit just as you would in Dorico.
In Dorico, on the other hand, I have to create these breakpoints manually myself—and I actually need three of them to ensure that the edited line only changes the intended section and doesn’t extend to the next note.
It would be a wonderful and very helpful improvement if this could be made just as simple in Dorico as it is in Cubase.

Häufig will ich bei der Wiedergabe in DORICO einen einzelnen Ton in der Lautstärke anpassen. Kein Problem, wenn die Lautstärke über die Anschlagsstärke gesteuert wird. Leider ist es in DORICO etwas mühsam, sobald diese mit Controller (CC1/CC11) gesteuert wird.
Aus Cubase bin ich gewohnt, dies in 2 Sekunden zu erledigen indem ich im Midi-Editor mit dem Bereichswerkzeug über die Note streiche. Es werden damit sofort die benötigten Schnittpunkte in der CC-Linie erzeugt, die man dann wie entsprechend auch in Dorico editieren kann.
In Dorico dagegen muss ich diese passenden Schnittpunkte selber manuell erzeugen - und zwar sogar drei Stück davon um zu verhindern, dass die editierte Linie nur den gewollten Bereich verändert und nicht bis zur nächsten Ton verläuft.
Es wäre eine wunderbare und sehr gute Erleichterung wenn es in DORICO auch so ideal einfach wie in CUBASE machbar werden würde.
