Could you please fix this nasty bug in the “Editing Master Page” where the vertical alignment of a text always resets to center after each edit?
IIRC the devs know about this bug… So we know it will be repaired in due course 
In the meantime, waste some time with that bug and breathe!
Just in case this is any help:
I tend to do the fiddling with each individual frame on a page and ignore the error. Then I either Cmd/Ctrl+click each of the affected frames or marquee select the whole page, and switch that property back for them all simultaneously. It makes it slightly less painful to only have to do it once per page.
In Dorico 3 the behaviour described in my first post is still there.
Is there no chance to correct this?
It’s not a bug, it’s a feature.
Seriously, though… no, it has not been addressed yet.
It’s been this way since Dorico 1.0. Don’t hold your breath waiting for a fix
