Hi , @PaulWalmsley
(score editor)
I just found that I’m unable to use option-click and drag to copy notes to another pitch at the same position in the bar. Suppose I have a Cmajor chord for the piano and I want to make it a Cmaj7, why can’t I just option-click the G and copy to a B position? cmd-C, than cmd-V than drag the note will do it, but that’s 3 steps. Likewise copying a note to a position further up in the bar I can only copy it to the same pitch, and then I have to drag (or use the arrow-keys) it to the right pitch.
I also don’t understand why, when I have redefined a chord symbol (such as C7(b13) into C7#5) it only shows up in the key-editor and in the chord track, but not where I want it: in the score!
In another thread ( Score editor: strange place for staccato dots ) I point out more quirks that make the score-editor unhandy to use. But would also like to say that I do see a couple of great enhancements as compared to the old C13 score editor that I’m very happy with.
