) and i see the CC lane in the editor when i open the key editor. Unfortunately, you have to go to the ¶ lane and select which key you want to see/edit. My question is, after recording a chord with PA: is there a way to select the a note in the editor and have the corresponding note be selected in the ¶ lane automatically? A preference perhaps? Thx, in advance.

No, this option is not there. But you can record it as NoteExpression data. Then the line is glued to the MIDI Note and you can edit the curve on the MIDI Note.
