I have recently upgraded from Cubase 6.5 (keeping 6.5 still installed). In Cubase 11, I have realized that when I select an editing tool (mute/scissor etc.) the mouse pointer does not change as it was changing before, i.e. to an X, pen or a scissor etc, so you could see which tool you were using, but it is now always an arrow.
I have opened the project back in 6.5 and have seen that also 6.5 is spoiled now and mouse pointer is always an arrow, no matter which tool I select. I tried reinstalling both 6.5 and 11 to no avail.
Please help.
