When there are sales, assuming you are eligible for the student discount, can you get the sale discount in addition?

What time of year is the best sale? Black Friday or some other holiday?
There’s just been a sale but I assume Black Friday would have some kind of deal.
I’d be surprised if you get an edu discount on a product that is on sale. You might be lucky though!

When Steinberg runs sales promotions, it is very rare for products sold at the educational price to be included in the sale. All of our main creative tools are permanently available at an educational price that is around 40% lower than the regular retail price.
We also don’t tend to pre-announce our sales promotions, but there will be at least one more opportunity to buy Dorico at a promotional price before the end of the calendar year.
