To be completely independent of the main mix, you need to use pre fader cue sends.
Maybe I’m not clear on what I’m trying to do.
I don’t have seperate control room, so we are all using headphones during tracking, the drums and bass and most guitars are aleady recorded, so the only open mic is the vocalist, an amatuer.
My mix A is post fader so that I can solo and mute without affecting the singer, her mix is cue B pre fader so she can hear the mix exactly as she likes, with her voice louder than it will be in final mix.
From past endeavers if I put too much reverb in her cans she often thinks she is singing much better than she actual is, so only touch of reverb to her mix.
However, I want to hear my mix A while she is tracking with varying amounts of reverb to get some idea of what is realy happening. ( I have found when the vocalist has only small amounts of reverb they tend to perform better).
Eveything works as it should, except I can’t vary the reverb between the differnt cues.
In the last example from Samplitude I sent you see I have a cue reverb that goes out on outputs 3/4 which is my cue outputs.
I hope I have made myself clear and thank you evertone for your time and patience.
You showed a screenshot of your control room feature from inside Cubase.
Yes, looks promising!
You can regulate the amount of reverb for your singer with this slider on your reverb effect channel:
I mean a physical control room separate from my music room!

You can regulate the amount of reverb for your singer with this slider on your reverb effect channel:
yes I finally figred it out created a separate cue verb and disabled the regular reverb for cue 3 and I control amount from the send on the channel to the cue verb. In my pic I am showing the control an my snare track the LXP Rev is going to mix and the cue verb to cue 3.
Thank you all for helping me through this
If your regular reverb is not placed as an insert effect but on its own FX Track as a send effect you could lower the send amount to Cue B also directly there.
There is another possibility when using the Control Room of Cubase: Each Cue Mix can have its own insert effects. Those would not affect the actual mix at all but would be audible on this Cue. You could place a reverb there for your singer, thus avoiding the Cue Verb channel in your project.
