Elementary Educator Set Up

I am trying to re-create the Finale Elementary Educator look. I really love it but the left hand side is as close as I can get it so far. How can I go about recreating that look? I have found the alpha notes but I can’t seem to choose “alpha note” and “larger notehead.” I did find the place to make the staff lines a bit bigger.

On the image, the right hand side is the Finale “Elementary Educator” set-up and the left is as close as I can get with Dorico so far.

Anyways, when Finale announced their end and they encouraged Dorico, I just trusted them and decided that I would go “all-in” on Dorico. I don’t want to stuff Dorico into the “Finale Box” but I just really loved that setup for making scores for kids.

I don’t understand your problem. The noteheads look the same size in relation to the staff space size. The only difference looks like the horizontal note spacing (which you can change using layout options>note spacing)

To make the staff lines thicker go to engraving option, if you want to make it bigger go to layout option page setup and choose the staff size

Thank you for the help. Increasing staff size got me pretty close, honestly I didn’t realize that noteheads would get larger as well; I somehow thought I’d have to increase notehead separately. It still doesn’t look quite as nice as the Finale one, it seems a little thicker looking, less rounded somehow. I don’t know I have trouble describing it, but at least it’s close! I love how Orff instruments are included similar to Finale. If Dorico can make that beautiful look for the kid’s music like Finale had, I would be over the moon because I am otherwise pretty thrilled with Dorico so far.
