I’ve just installed the trial of Wavelab Elements 8 on my PC, but when I try to start the program I get the following error: ‘No valid licence has been found on this computer. Wavelab Elements 8 cannot be started.’
I check the website and it tells me there’s no activation needed? Am I doing something wrong? I’ve never used the program before.

It sounds to me like your SEL may be damaged. Please close all programs and download this file: http://support.steinberg.de/eLC/eLC_Installation_Helper.exe
• Double-click on the downloaded file to start the reinstallation of the eLicenser Control Center. Next restart your PC and fire up the Wavelab Elements 8 trial program and tell me what messages you receive, if any.
