Elicencer crashes after going from Cubase 8.5 32bit back to Pro 10.5.2 64bit

Every time I go Cubase 8.5 32bit back to Pro 10.5.2 64bit Cubase Pro 10.5.2 won’t load and when I run Elicenser Control Center (6.12.4.1272) it doesn’t even find my dongle requiring a reboot of my computer. Should I roll back to a different version?
