Elicenser and issues with upgrading

Hi all,

SO the other day, i bought the upgrade from Cubase 8 LE AI to Artist 10. My Elicenser came today and i cannot register my Artist 10 activation code to it.

i enter my activation code and all options that i have are greyed out with the message ‘‘currently, there is no license available which can be upgraded by your upgrade license’’ which, to me, makes absolutely no sense, as i have bought the correct update and have the elicenser plugged in.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Exactly what does you current license say and exactly what does the upgrade say (in the activation window)? The message is saying you have the wrong update/upgrade.
Remember, a “.5” in the version matters. I.E. Cubase 8.0 and 8.5 are not the same, etc.
Also, I have never done an upgrade from a soft eLicense to the USB eLicence but perhaps you need to first move the AI/LE license from the soft eLicencer to the USB eLicenser?
