elicenser fails on WIN 7

Trying to install Elements 9 (Upgrade from LE 5). The elicenser fails with a message that indicates visual C module is missing.

  • cant get Cubase Elements to run - can’t enter activation code into elicenser. (see attached)

  • cant get elicenser to run - microsoft Visual C++ module not found.
  • cant get visual C++ to update - Visual C++ redistributable fails to update.
