I’m new to Steinberg products starting with WL7 so I’ve never had to do an upgrade via the eLicenser. I’m guessing it’s pretty easy but what I’m wondering is if there is any way to store the WL8 license on an iLok or cloud system like Waves now uses? I’ve been doing a little more work remotely and it’d be nice to not have to grab my iLok and eLicenser to do this.
No way to do that. Your e-licenser is your life when it comes to Steinberg products. Treat it like gold and do not break it or lose it. Could end up costing you to the tune of repurchasing your license - again.
