eLicenser not being recognised on MacBook Pro mid 2012 w/ OS 10.11

I’ve been trying to install cubase 9.5 on my mid-2012 MacBook Pro w/ OS 10.11 Sierra.

It’s just not recognising the eLicenser on the desktop, and I’ve now tried everything I can think of using the Finder.

Can anyone help me out?

Hi and welcome,

Is this USB 3 port? If yes, do you have the latest USB-eLicenser (the short one)? An older USB-elicensers were not compatible with USB 3.

Can you see the device in the System Report?
