I want to migrate my Cubase setup from a Dell desktop + MR816csx to a Dell Alienware laptop with a TB interface.
I had already installed Cubase 9.0 Pro and yesterday tried to upgrade to 9.5 but my eLicenser generated many error messages and interrupted the installation many times. I wasted hours.
One repeating message included these words, ‘…your hardware fingerprint has changed…’.
What does this mean?
Is eLicenser programmed to prevent my install?
