I just updated my elicenser from 6.5 to 8 on a new computer, but will it still recognize 6.5 on my other computer?
It only says Cubase 8 in the control center

You will be able to open any version below 8 (7.5, 7, 6.5, 6, 5, 4, SX3, SX2…).

That is correct, BUT you have to keep the eLicenser software on that older computer updated so it keeps recognizing the newer licenses on the USB-key.
