Elicenses on a Mac

Is there any way to install e Licenses on a Mac WITHOUT a usb? Every time I enter an activation code it asks for me to insert a USB E Licenser. I thought they had soft-Elicenses? ANY HELP WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. I cannot set anything up without this.

If a USB E LIcenser is required, where do I get one?

What software are you trying to enter an activation code for?

Some require the USB-eLicenser and some don’t.
