OK so I know this has been talked about 1001 times. But here goes.
The elinceser POS error. “Synsoacc.dll” not locate in windows system folder.
I have followed every and I mean every method show on how to clear this fault. Cubase has been uninstall reinstall on it’s own, under admin, run as admin, install clean on a clean new version windows 11 not vst or add on of any kind. And still the error pops up every dam time. Time to either clear the problem once and for all or scrap Cubase and use something else that works
Please provide some more information about your system – OS version, Cubase version etc., what led to this point?
For example, is this a re-installation of an older version of Cubase on a new Windows 11 PC?
I have been doing more testing, The problem only shows when you midi through my Model 15. This is my normal set up MS1 out to Model 15 midi in and then through to my kobol. Change them round, kobol is first in line and the problem stops. If I CV/Gate to the kobol and midi to the Model 15 there is no problem.
I have not tried going via another synth (I have a pro 800 I could try)
But the problem is there if you go via model 15 into the Kobol. Why this is I do not know.
What I don’t notice from your info is ….did you (specifically and manually) download and install the 70mb May 28 2025 elicenser control center driver from sb downloads page? Which is essentially that dll.
Perhaps you did. You didn’t say.
At any rate, it sounds like reversing your hardware indeed solves the problem….I don’t know anything about those 2 pcs of hardware myself.
