embarrassed to ask, but...

I must be going early senile, but I could have sworn that Cubase projects used to start at the 1 instead of the zero marker. I just don’t remember used to having a measure before the one. Is there a way to get it to ditch the pre-roll?

Project setup, bar offset.

Go to project/project setup and adjust the bar offset till your song displays bar “1” at the beginning. Mine displays bar “1” at “0” offset.

Ok, Split got to it first! (gotta learn to type quicker)

Split / Suprawill1, you guys rock!!! I went through every stinking parameter in the preferences, but didn’t think to look at project setup. Thank you!!

You can also get the time to run from almost 0 sec at the start too and have the whole project starting on bar 1, 0 sec with a -Ve 4 bar count if ya want
