Embedding Markers

Hi Guys,

Even though I have selected the option in the preference to ‘write markers in the header’, the don’t seem to appear when opening the audio file in either wavelab or protools. What am I doing something wrong?

There are two options. Either of them works with WaveLab for sure.
In ProTools, I don’t know.
If you render, make sure to enable the marker option.

thanks PG. In regards to the marker file, can I ask Wavelab to place these elsewhere or do they need to stay in the same folder as the rendered audio.

I do not recommend you to write markers in a separate file. This is an old option present for compatibility reasons. Such a file is always copied next to the audio file anyway.
