I am finding that “ends voice” or “starts voice” doesn’t work on my drum set staff. This features seems to work on other multi-voice staves.
Also, when I try to change the voice of hits that have special playing techniques (like rim shots or cross sticks) I’m finding that the noteheads (and sometimes the rhythm) gets messed up.

Starts/Ends Voice don’t work on kit staves - it was ever thus. The good news is that there are heaps of threads on this topic already, explaining good workarounds and working methods for percussion/drum kits.
