Engrave problem

I was working with something later in a later flow of this piece. I got ready to print in the first page looks completely different. The second picture is what it used to look like. The first picture is what it now looks like. What do I have to do to fix this?

Hard to tell from pictures alone. Did you select the same layout in Print mode as you were viewing in Write/Engrave? Can you upload the actual Dorico file? It may be easier to find out.

There is a page override on page 1.

Jesper

What does that mean?

It means that you edited a page directly instead of the page template. So that it’s not following the page template anymore. right-click the page and remove overrides. Not sure the result is what you want, but worth a try.

Awesome! Now….. How can I put four flows back on the first page?

Perhaps reduce the page, music frame and flow margins a bit and/or reduce some settings under Layout Options→Vertical Spacing. You mean like this?

I’ll try those ideas. I’m just bummed that it didn’t go back to what it was.

Yeah, there was a long thread about that recently, editing/adding a flow. Let me see if I can find it.

Jesper

Erm? It DID go back to what you wanted.

It didn’t automatically go back to 4 songs on the first page. That’s what I meant.

But that is exactly what @jesele’s post show.

If you’re not going to use the composer/lyricist field on the first page, you could remove those text frames from the first page template, and raise the music frame. That would give you some more space to fit an additional flow.
