Engraving for piano

I am trying to format a piano work with 3 movements. When I get the first flow to look correct, the 2nd and third need to be edited. For example, I need the first page of each flow to have 4 systems and the continuing pages to contain 5. Have not accomplished this yet. I am a new user after 15 years of Sibelius. Where can I look for help? The videos I have seen don’t seem to address the issue.

Casting off is layout-specific and so if you want 5 systems per page most of the time, I would set your casting off to this. You can add a Frame Break at the end of the 4th system of page 1 so that the following music begins on page 2 and then has 5 systems per page.

Does this make sense?

Try experimenting with the options on the Staves and Systems page of Layout Options, in particular in the Casting Off section. Set Fixed number of systems per frame to 5, and ensure that Scale number of systems by frame height is also activated. That should arrange things such that on normal pages you have 5 systems, and on pages where you have a less tall music frame (e.g. on the first page of each flow, where the First page template is used), you get 4 systems.
