A quick question here. When I make an enharmonic change to notes in parts for some reason the full score does not seem to update. Am I missing a setting here or is this just a little quirk in the program. Thank you in advance for any feedback. It’s kind of a pain to for back through the score and redo the enharmonic changes. This is by design; see the first note here:
If you have changed the spelling of a note in a part layout, you can select the note and do Write > Respell > Propagate Note Spellings, which will copy that spelling to any other layout in which the note appears. You can also set up a key command for this, if it’s something you do often.
Another option would be to select the note and press W, which will switch you to the score layout with the same note selected. Then you can respell it there (which does automatically propagate to the part) and press W again to switch back to the part.
