Is there a way to, without changing the key signature, have notes (chords) appear in their enharmonic equivalent. I am working on a piece in Ab, but a large portion is written in E, and the Fbs etc, what a pain. Any quick fixes?
Very quick: Alt+– (minus) or Alt+= (plus).
This works during note entry too, with the selected note(s).
If you’re entering a whole passage in E, I would just add a temporary E major key sig so the notes are easy, and delete it afterward.
