Enlarge Selected Track Issue

I like the idea of Enlarge Selected Track, especially when working with lots of tracks.

The problem I have with it is this:

I have a bunch if tracks selected which are automatically selected when I select some clips. If I then want to select another bunch of tracks by lassoing more clips, the tracks I had previously selected release/resize immediately when I click on the timeline before selecting the other clips.

The position of the clips gets messed up by the resizing and places other clips in the position of the clips I was about to select

This makes it awkward to select the new clips.

It would be much better if the old tracks were de-selected when the mouse button is released, not engaged. This would make it much easier to select new clips/tracks.

You can see what I mean…

Are you holding Ctrl when you go to select more, or whatever the equivalent is on Mac? It works for me when I hold Ctrl.

Sort of..when i do that it keeps adding zoomed tracks. It woukd work better if it released the old zoomed tracks after releasenig the mouse button wirhout the beef to hit ctrl. or adding extra zoomed tracks.
