Dear friends, to enter cue notes in a single part, I select a note and press the cue note button. Then I have to return to the full score each time to see which instrument is currently playing. Then I go back to the single part and select that instrument from a drop-down list. For a larger, more complex orchestral work, this can be very time-consuming. Is there a way to enter cue notes more quickly?

I usually enter them in the score. Select a passage and Shift-U. You can show cues in the score until you’re done under Library→Layout Options→Players→Cues.

The Cues seem to show up in Galley View, even if Layout Options is set not to show them on the page.
