I am entering figured bass in a two part piece. I want to enter only 2. However I don’t want to change the rule in Engraving Options because in 3 and 4 parts I still want to use 4/2. Is there a way of over-riding 4/2 just for a handful of entries?
If you type an exclamation mark at the start of the figure then that will apply an override just for that individual figure. So you should be able to type “!2” into the popover.
